160,000 Expected for Carnival of Diversity

This weekend sees the return of the annual Pride Festival to Brighton and the surrounding area, as the ever-popular event celebrates it’s 25th anniversary in the city.

The theme for Pride 2015 is ‘The Carnival of Diversity’ – a special theme chosen to mark the 25th anniversary, and also in recognition of the role of Brighton in leading the way in UK diversity, open-mindedness and creativity.

This year’s parade will take a new, high profile route through the city, beginning at Hove Lawns on the front, and taking in Kings Road, West Street, North Street and London Road.  In all, over 160,000 people are expected to take part in the celebrations, both as performers and spectators – we’ve got our fingers crossed for good weather, but Brighton is sure to be an explosion of colour and culture come rain or shine.

If you’re heading out this weekend to join the Pride celebrations, why not work in a visit to Donatello – Brighton’s favourite Italian restaurant?
Our large pizzeria has plenty of room for parties of all sizes, complete with a gorgeous sun terrace for al fresco dining.  We’re ideally located right in the heart of Brighton’s historic Lanes with all their charming boutique shops and vibrant bars and cafes.

Our extensive menu offers all your favourite Italian classics, alongside speciality dishes unique to Donatello – our 2-course specials start at just £8.95pp with a huge choice of dishes.
