In an extension to the friendship enjoyed between club and community, Donatello are proud to announce their shirt sponsorship of the official Albion Supporters Football Club for 2005/06 and 2006/07.

Donatello owner Sue Addis says: "Together with my sons, Leo, Stefano and Mikele I am delighted to sponsor Albion's supporters club and extend our relationship within the community. It's a very exciting time for the club
and we were more than happy to agree a two year sponsorship deal to help them grow further"

Sue Addis of Donatello recently successfully bid £2,400 for a signed David Beckham boot at a charity auction in aid of the Martlets Hospice.The signed silver and red Adidas Predator Pulse, which has an image of Beckham taking a free kick stitched on the heel, is in a display case in the restaurant's bar area with a picture of the superstar footballer.

It will be on show December when Donatello are then donating it to the Argus Appeal where it will be auctioned again on eBay for another brilliant charity.

Pietro Addis of Donatello who donated £40,000 to The Argus Appeal has paid for a new community minibus.

He originally gave the money to the appeal when he retired in January and it has been used to buy a new Gingerbread bus, which is managed by Budget Rent-A-Car, Brighton, and can be hired by charities for £20.

The original Gingerbread bus was paid for out of the proceeds of the first Argus Christmas grotto in 2000.

It was named after the building belonging to Donatello where the grotto is held every year.

The first bus has now been passed on to the Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice in Arundel, the only children's hospice in Sussex.

Elsa Gillio, The Argus Appeal coordinator, said: "We are very grateful to Pietro Addis and Donatello, and to the original sponsors Legal and General. The bus has helped hundreds of thousands of adults and children and it's lovely to have another."

Mr Addis and Trevor McInnes of Budget Rent-A-Car presented the bus to the appeal yesterday.
