Brighton’s favourite family Italian restaurant, Donatello, is celebrating the arrival of their Martlets Hospice Snowdog by giving away a free cocktail or mocktail to any diner who takes a ‘selfie’ with the Snowdog, tweets it @donatello_ then shows the tweet to Donatello waiters.
Keen doggy seekers can find special offers at each of the 45 locations in Brighton and Hove where a uniquely designed Snowdog appears, and Donatello are confident that the cocktail, based on a traditional Sea Breeze drink with bright and zesty flavours of grapefruit juice and cranberry juice with vodka, will be a hit.
The Italian restaurant welcomed their Snowdog, named ‘Crush Puppy’, to their restaurant today [23 September] and she will live outside the premises at Brighton Place until 27 November.
In July Donatello commissioned local artist Louise Dear to exclusively design their Snowdog. Famed for her vibrant and beautiful faces and flower-themed art, Louise created a Sophia Loren design for the glamorous pooch.
Donatello is a family business which has, for over 25 years, served delicious, affordable food using top quality ingredients.
Sue Addis from Donatello said, “We are very excited to welcome Crush Puppy to live at our restaurant for the coming weeks and we think she will be very at home here. She is a real Italian beauty! We love to support local charities and Martlets is a very important hospice for our community. We want people to have fun with the special offer in the name of this great cause.”
