Donatello hosts special award ceremony for The Argus Appeal

Argus Appeal is awarded Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Donatello Restaurant was pleased to host the auspicious occasion of The Argus Appeal receiving the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. The presentation was made by Peter Field, the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex and the event was attended by Maureen Chowen, the High Sheriff, Cllr Mo Marsh, the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Nicholas Owen, patron of The Argus Appeal as well as many volunteers and special friends of the charity.

Sue Addis, proprietor of Donatello and trustee of The Argus Appeal said: “I am enormously proud of the achievements of The Argus Appeal and to receive this award in its 60th anniversary year makes me even prouder to be part of the charity and the good work it does.”
