Donatello Sponsor Montpelier Villa FC Juniors

Montpelier Villa FC are one of Brighton’s largest amateur football clubs. Since their inception in 1991, the club has matured from a Division 6 side with modest facilities and a lot of ambition, to the club they are today with 3 men’s teams, a veterans/seniors side, several junior teams and some of the finest amateur football facilities in Sussex.

As we’ve mentioned in previous blogs, the Donatello family are huge football fanatics, and we take a keen interest in the game at all levels, right down to grass-roots – that’s why we got in touch with Montpelier Villa Chairman and Founder, Gary Pleece, to see if we could help.

Donatello are delighted to announce that we will be official shirt sponsors for Montpelier Villa Under-13’s junior’s team for the 2014/15 season.
This new kit deal has coincided with further good news for the Villans – since Brighton & Hove Albion moved to their new training ground in Lancing, Montpelier Villa have been invited to use the recently vacated facilities at the Falmer Sports Complex – part of the University of Sussex.

So far this season, the new kit and awesome new facilities seem to be doing the trick for Villa’s under-13s. An away win at Three Bridges on the opening day of the season was followed by a 3-2 home victory against local rivals Hove Park Colts last Sunday, leaving Montpelier Villa top of the table and brimming with confidence.
The lads are back in action on 28th September when they face Loxwood Youth for an 11am kick-off at the Falmer Complex.

Everyone at Donatello would like to wish Montpelier Villa all the very best for the season ahead – we will be cheering you on every Sunday morning and looking out for your results.
