This Sunday the 14th sees the annual naked bike ride in Brighton.
Since 2006 Brighton has took part in the World Naked Bike Ride to celebrate the human form and cycling. The rides ethos is to highlight how vulnerable cyclists are on the roads and hopes to encourage people to use bikes more often. The ride also wants to raise awareness that cycling as a way of commuting and keeping healthy is a great lifestyle choice compared to car travel.
Creative expression goes hand in hand with the event as part of the wider culture of the World Naked Bike Ride which sees participants decorating their bikes along with their bodies in weird and wonderful ways.
This ride no doubt raises more than a few eyebrows on the Brightonian shores which has had more than 1000 people taking part in previous years.
The ride starts at 1pm and finishes around 4pm at the nudist beach.
