Widely praised for their stunning live shows, Bellowhead has sadly decided to withdraw from the music scene. The eleven-piece folk band is currently performing their last farewell tour, which comes to Brighton Dome’s Concert hall this Monday 18th April.
Acknowledged as one of the best live acts in the UK, the band won numerous plaudits including Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, who called their performances as “One of the best live experiences available in the world today.
The band was seen at cutting edge because of their fusing of folk, funk, rock, world, jazz, music hall and classical music. They even won the BBC Radio 2 Folk awards Best Live Act 5 times, as well as Best Group twice.
Looking to give the band the send off it deserves and go out with a bang, it would be criminal to miss out on this momentous event. So for those heading to join the farewell party at Brighton Dome, why not grab a bit to eat at Brighton’s favourite Italian Restaurant.
