In the run up to the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival’s ‘Spring Harvest’ in April, local primary school pupils were invited to get creative and design a pizza that represents Brighton. Over 600 entries were received with the final three on sale at Donatello during the festival.
After many pizzas were eaten the winner by a public vote was the Seafood Special which will be placed on the menu at Donatello later this month. With a donation from Donatello to the Rockinghorse Childrens Charity for every pizza sold over the summer.
Leo Simpson was chuffed to win the cup and also to get his pizza on at Donatello.
The Cup was presented by Sue Addis Managing Director of the Donatello Group, the standard of entires was high and Leo’s pizza proved very popular with customers at Donatello.
As one of the most popular Italian Restaurants in Brighton, Donatello was the perfect partner for the Brighton and Hove Food Festival to join forces with to help with the competition.
