This weekend sees Europe’s premier vegan festival, VegFest UK, return to Brighton following a massively successful show in the city last year.
On Saturday 27th February and Sunday 28th February the Brighton Centre on Kings Road will host the event which hopes to build on last year’s attendance figures of 12,000.
The 2016 VegFest show will be bigger and better than ever – visitors can look forward to over 200 stalls covering all aspects of vegan and vegetarian culture with lots of exclusive offers only available at VegFest and of course, plenty of free tasters!
The ground floor of the Brighton Centre will be given over to a Hemp Expo promoting the myriad benefits of hemp-based products as cosmetics, textiles and of course a healthy superfood. Also new for 2016 is an animal rights forum, a teacher’s vegan summit and a ‘mature zone’ with extra seating and activities aimed at older guests who may be new to veganism.
Tickets for VegFest UK are still available – see the website here – or can be bought on the day at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Kids under 16 go free.
If you’re heading out to VegFest then why not call in at nearby Donatello for a delicious Italian meal before or after the show? Our menu features all your favourite Italian classics, as well as a large selection of vegetarian dishes, a plentiful salad bar, and a huge range of award-winning wines.
Donatello is located right in the heart of The Lanes and has a seating capacity of over 350, making it ideal for larger groups seeking a great value meal in a relaxing setting.
